In September 2024, we had a precious encounter with Professor Arieh Warshel, the chief scientist of MoMed Biotech, a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States and the winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry. Professor Warshel personally visited MoMed Biotech and had in-depth exchanges with the research and development team to understand the latest progress of research and development projects and gave highly professional guidance.

During the same period, Professor Warshel and Dr. Bai Chen, the chairman of MoMed Biotech, were invited to attend important events in Hangzhou City and Linping District and went to colleges and universities for exchanges to share cutting-edge scientific concepts and innovative thinking.

On September 27, MoMed Biotech held a grand and formal research and development meeting. At this meeting, Dr. Bai Chen, the chairman of MoMed Biotech, and Professor Arieh Warshel, the chief scientist and winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, attended together.

Before the meeting, Professor Warshel cordially met with new employees, fully demonstrating his care and attention to the new forces of the company.

During the meeting, Professor Warshel listened carefully to the company's research and development progress report in the past year, covering pipeline promotion and platform construction. Subsequently, Professor Warshel put forward guiding opinions on project details and technical difficulties, pointing out the way forward for the team and benefiting the members a lot.

Dr. Bai Chen, the chairman of MoMed Biotech, expressed sincere thanks for Professor Warshel's guidance and encouraged the research and development team to continue to uphold excellent scientific research spirit and innovation ability.

On the morning of September 28, the 2024 Hangzhou International Talent Exchange and Project Cooperation Conference opened. Ding Zhongli, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, chairman of the Central Committee of the China Democratic League, and president of the Western Returned Scholars Association, attended the opening ceremony of the conference and delivered a speech. Before the meeting, Yi Lianhong, secretary of the provincial Party committee, went to the residence to visit the participants. Wang Hao, deputy secretary of the provincial Party committee and governor of the province, announced the opening of the conference. Liu Jie, deputy secretary of the provincial Party committee and secretary of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee, delivered a speech.

Provincial and municipal leaders Wang Cheng, Liu Xin, Zhang Yanyun, Li Huolin, Ma Weiguang, and Cheng Hongming, deputy secretary-general of the Western Returned Scholars Association, attended the opening ceremony. Yao Gaoyuan presided over. Professor Arieh Warshel was invited to attend the conference on behalf of MoMed Biotech and spoke as a talent representative.

On the morning of September 27, Professor Arieh Warshel was invited to attend the First Biomedical CXO Ecological Development Conference in Zhejiang in 2024 on behalf of MoMed Biotech and delivered a speech.

Ji Zifa, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of Linping District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, head of the United Front Work Department, and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Linping Economic and Technological Development Zone, delivered an opening speech. The conference invited global top scientists and industry representatives such as Arieh Warshel, winner of the 2013 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States, Toby Graham, special guest from Australia, Adam Roche, special guest from Ireland, Ding Liming, president of Zhejiang Pharmaceutical Industry Association, and Chen Xiaofeng, chairman of Kefa Capital.

Professor Warshel warmly congratulated on the convening of the conference, emphasized the key role of the biomedical industry in the global health cause, and hoped that this activity would further promote the cooperation, innovation and development of MoMed Biotech internationally.
